Holy cow!! Just listed mine as well, and someone offered to trade me a pair of FX850's and Sennheiser Amperiors.
 
I really wanted to make my money back but the woodies are really tempting...do I take the trade?
 
Truth be told I was gonna jump up to a pair of SE425's with the money I made back so I'm not quite sure what to do

Yeah, i was offered the trade by 2 ppl unfortunately i had already ordered the jvc. The fx850 is my favorite, something sooo natural about the wood. I love the rockets, but i feel the fx850 beats it everywhere except the vocals and detail retreival and thats pretty close. I never heard the shure 425 but i even preferred jvc over the asg2.5 and shure 846 (only had few hours with it and probably coulda used amp out of sony a17)...just my opinion though as i can definately see why many love the rockets

I'm outside of the US. Aurisonic told me I need to mail it back to them with some form of tracking mail ...

Anyone can give impression on how good (or bad) does Rockets sound with DX90 without additional amp? Thingking of upgrading my Sony A15 to DX90 now if it's really worthed.
