Hah, I almost bought an ie800 the other day so thanks for that tidbit. Tips for rockerfs can be tricky since the IEM doesn't like to sit straight in the canal. I have to use the tritabs to keep them properly aligned (if you wiggle the rockets up and down, you can hear the sound gradually open up or close off, very similar to etymotic IEMs in that there's a sweet spot) for optimal sound if I'm using anything other than the stock tips

Hey guys. I just got mine. They sound great! Although I am not much of an audiophile, this sounds great!
Although one thing: What's the best placement of the rockets in your ear? When I put both in my ears, i feel a bit of an edge hitting my ear and that could possibly be the tritab. Anyone have pictures of their ears with the rockets in the best and most comfortable position? Im still messing here and there with it.

yeah the Rockets takes some fumbling to figure out the fit for sure. Do try taking off the tritab to see how it fits, as well as rotating the tritab while it's in your ear or adjusting the fit of the tritab on the barrel of the Rockets itself by pushing it up and down.

To my ears, rockets 5.1mm microdriver like the knowles TWFK didn't changed much in sound signature after burn-in.

Actually spinfit tips doesn't fit the rockets nicely. It comes off quite easily.

the sony hybrids have been working great for me. Sonic difference to the stock tips is negligible for the most part. Comfort is the best and doesn't pick up earwax like the stock tips.

The SureSeal tips are quite comfortable but it does not isolate noise good enough. The Tri-Tab can provide additional isolation.
