Auris Audio
$2,300.00

Amplifier

The star has been born again and the successor of the famous HA-2SE amplifier is ready for the market to rise even higher than its predecessor. The HA-2SE was one of the best-selling devices from the Auris product range which launched Auris Audio to the very top of the world when it comes to the headphone amplifiers.

The HA-2SE gets its successor that will have similar basis and price range but with a lot of improvements and additions compared to its predecessor. As the main feature, it is adorned with a balanced input and output.

Auris HA-2SE + is a balanced single-ended headphone amplifier. The lineup of tubes is classic Auris, with the use of four 7-pin Ei PL95 pentode power NOS (new old stock) tubes, which are the equivalent to 6DL5, and a single ECC81 dual-triode input tube, also known like 12AT7.

Transformers are the essence of quality, and therefore products of Auris Audio contain only manually wound transformers on a double C core produced by Auris Audio. Every single transformer is manufactured in compliance with strictly defined requirements, thus providing almost a linear characteristic in the whole acoustic/sound range.

  • Balanced Headphone Amplifier
  • Impedance selector
  • Pre Out Option
  • Multiple Inputs
  • Stunning Sound
  • Integrated Power Supply

As an Auris Euterpe owner myself I have no doubt in the sonic capabilities of this new amp and I hope I'll get a chance to hear one in the future. On the other hand I feel a bit let down by the recent design changes in the looks department of all the newer Auris amps. The wood work and very appealing design was one of their stand out features. The new design has a bit more of a DIY-feel to me and doesn't even come close to the wood( and leather) design they once had.

Completely agree! I have wood, now an old version (HA-2 SF). I wouldn't trade it for any amp, but the new design...hm, I am glad I have the old version, which I like so much, the new design...I wouldn't buy it.

Cheers!

oh i have read your review :)
couldn't find more reviews on this one.

. How would you compare Aune S17 Pro to Auris HA2SE+. Which one has more tuby sound and which one do you prefer.

I am thinking about getting this. Want to upgrade burson soloist 3xp to something tuby. Headphones i am using are zmf atrium and he 1000 stealth.

appreciate it.

Well, the Auris is an all tube amplifier so it has real tube sound and not "tubey" as the S17. Honestly, the Auris easily beats my beloved S17. This is high end stuff. If you like tubes, this is the real thing and it can drive almost every headphone in existence.
