Before the new amplifier (Halgorythme 300B heavily modified) came in, yes I did like the HE6 paired with the Taurus. But now I must honestly say that the HE6 can scale more than that.
 
I have listened a lot to Taurus + LCD3 (not Fazor), and I think this is one of the best combo I have ever heard. Unfortunately I cannot compare with the Halgorythme because I do not have no more the LCD3. 
 
Re having the HE6 as second pair ...well... I can only strongly suggest to listen before buying.... IMHO if you like the Taurus+LCD3 combo, Taurus+HE6 sound signature could be really too different......

I am current using Beyerdynamic T1 2nd Generation. i want to finish establishing electronics before changing headphones. i really wanted to have VEGA as a DAC but it is far from affordable so i am choosing between Wadia Di122, PS Audio Nuwave DSD and Mytek Brooklyn DAC.

I think T1 is a really good headphone. Haven't heard the 2.gen though, and only the original on Violectric. It's one of the headphones I regret selling.
Want a Vega myself, but it don't fit my wallet neither!

if i am able to finish the electronics then that is also the time that i will decide whether to change headphones or not.

Anyone here own the new v2 Vega that does DSD256 out of the box. I'm guessing you are using DoP, and if you can test in J. River I am having problems with my v1 Vega doing DSD256:

If you want DSD256 on Windows, I had to install the newest driver which is not listed on the Web Page, but this Auralic Support Page:
