Heh, I just got my AD2000 today as well, Cardas recabled no less.

Anyone who says these arent everything the AD700 are and more need to take another listen, or perhaps get their ears examined

They are indeed great headphones - enjoy! A quick suggestion to (IMO) seriously improve them: the phatpad mod.
