i have had b1s for a while.
as a previous owner of b1 i would say that build quality degrade a bit.

board inside or just volume knob and headphone output is moving up and down freely...
also that 'fake leather' is became very easy to get damaged/dirty.
case gets scratches very easy by just using on top of clean velour bag or transporting inside that bag.
i used it on top of pha3 at home for a week (pha3 and b1s get warm or hot during usage) and it got marks on a leather.

had to replace that 'fake leather' with a 'real cow leather'. now it is nice silver + black (took me less then 10$ to make in a local leather shop 'manually' and 'right-here-right-now' and it is much nicer then it was before). shame on you, aune. it is so cheap to make it right so it could be done at factory instead.


otherwise it is a nice upgrade to previous versions of b1 since i could can finally use my low impedance and sensitive headphones/earbuds/iems. there is LOTS of room for volume adjutment NOW and we get apparently the same sound we had before.

it would be so perfect if we could get a 'balanced' version with separate ground on input/output left and right channels...
we already have lots of power inside and an improvements would let input to be served from balanced dac/amp (lots of them) and as for output - people could reuse their existing balanced terminated headphones/cables or get better for a long cable home runs (many of us use 'portable' gear stationary at home).

I used mine on airplanes for the past years and it's a great little unit. I agree with @damex that true balanced out would have been useful.
