There is no such thing called base on their website. I downloaded all 3 chunks, the rest are manual and previous versions of firmware.

Well, yes I think Aune did one step closer to this target.
A new firmware, M2_1.30dizuo.rar is now available.
It is supposed to enable the hdmi communication between M2 player and the M2-T base:
@AuneAudio, can you confirm so?
To me the new firmware sounds virtually identical to 1.30 standard (maybe a little bit cleaner?).

Oh good. At RMAF, Candy told me that the mini HDMI port functionality would be enabled soon and a product released to take advantage of it. My guess is that the M2T base a small form factor desktop-class DAC/Amp that uses M2 as the transport.

That's all we can decypher from the pictures:
the form factor, all sort of digital out (I2S too!), a remote I've seen in other pictures and an USB IN.
