this is my first post here, I've been googling and searching Head-Fi for a while now but I can't really come up with anything. Does anyone know a good place to try out a good variety of brands/headphones in nassau county or near stony brook? im looking to try some mid range ($200-500) cans
Edit: noticed a couple of people looked at this thread already but probably cant help me, so ill ask for recommendations too. i'm looking for some closed headphones to use at school. i listen to about 80% hip hop/rap, 10% classical, and 10% everything else (and i mean everything). I'd prefer balanced sound, with a strong, clear bass but not boomy or overpowering. i use my samsung galaxy s1 for playback and i have a fiio e6 amp.
