This may be a dumb question, because I can't find the answer anywhere! I'm thinking about picking up a Dragonfly Black this afternoon, but I need a bit more juice to run my 250ohm DT880s. Can I run the output through another amp, such as a Fiio E11? Or would that require a dedicated preamp jack? Would turning the Dragonfly's volume down help? I guess I'm not even sure what I don't understand here!

Pretty sure I'm going to buy it regardless, and I'll only plug in my easier to drive Grado SR225e with it if necessary. Thanks in advance!

Well I've answered my own question. Picked it up today and right there on the box it says source>Dragonfly>external amp>headphones. Yay! i guess the sales guy who suggested I couldn't was just trying to sell me a Red instead of a Black
