What's the duty and tax rate if I want to buy a pair of headphones from overseas? 5% duty and 5% tax?

So if the headphones cost 2000AED, it'd be 100AED for duty and 100AED for tax, with the grand total being 2200?

Depending on where your buying from, the 5% tax is pre paid ie in Ali. Then the courier will ask for the 5% duty upon receipt...

Sometime later this year, I want to buy a pair of either the DCA Aeon 2, or the Campire Audio Cascade. As far as I know, there aren’t any official distributors of either in the UAE, and I’ll probably be ordering directly from their respective websites.

Speaking of Campfire, there's a massive clearance sale going on. Might as well grab this opportunity!
