i have an original audiolab m-dac which i used with sennheiser hd 650 and Audeze lcd-2 fazor which i found really good but i'm a novice to the headphone equipment world if i'm honest as i've had little chance to dem any kit.
i have however sold the lcd-2 fazors and bought some lcd-3 fazors which will arrive this week.
i'm not sure if the audiolab m-dac is the weak link or how good it is but i've been reading the forums and reviews and i would like some opinions and advice on how to upgrade.
i can get a chord hugo tt mk1 new for £1700 as it has been replaced by the tt2 which seems good value and has great reviews.. i also like to have visually nice looking equipment and really like the look of the SPL PHONITOR 2 and PHONITOR X but i know they will require a seperate DAC.
has anybody compared the above with the lcd-3's? i listen to anything from Neil Diamond to AC/DC.
thanks in advance.
