Audioengine P4 + Topping TP30 + Macbook Air

Just wondering if anyone could tell me what I should expect. I have had a pair of Audioengine P4 speakers sitting around for a while and didn't wanna shell out the cash for the Audioengine N22 because it seemed like a rip-off. I got a good deal on the Topping TP30 and plan to use it to power the P4 speakers. I am gonna hook the speakers and amp up to the TV in our guest room and also to my Macbook Air. Has anyone done this? Any thoughts on this setup? Is there really any advantage to having the Audioengine N22? Thanks.

It'll be fine. The only problem I could maybe foresee if it might not get loud enough in your guest room depending on room size.
