I just received a confirmation from Audiocubes for my Denon headphones. The confirmation contained what appeared to be a USPS tracking #. On the USPS website, there is no record of
this #. Any ideas?

The problem with USPS tracking is no information shows up until the unit is delivered!! What great tracking service huh? I ordered the Denon as well on Monday but by Wednesday the product was still showing as processing and my email sent to cancel the order if the product didn't ship that day was followed by a reply email stating the product would ship by the 11th-no mention of canceling the order. I'm sure Audiocubes is a fine company but their website leaves much to be desired and is somewhat troubling to find they are not responsive to customers directions. I probably would have found all of this as an FYI had I done a little research on them at Head-Fi. Keep these things in mind when ordering from this company.

What is the tracking number? Or, if you do not want to divulge

does it end in JP by any chance? If so it is a Japan EMS tracking number (which it should be since I believe AC always ships from Japan).

If so, go here and next to EMS (last option) click on "Item No Search" and enter the number to track it. It may take 24-48hrs to show up though.

Cheers,
X

Normally, you have to wait intil the next day to see the tracking started -- the tracking number is supplied to you at mailing time, but is not scanned-in until driver picks it up, or is scanned-in at the first terminal -- THEN the number will show up. Usually next day. How it works with most carriers.

Thanks, I just noticed that on the Audiocubes website, in very small print, it states 24-48 hours for the tracking # to show up on the USPS website. Hopefully, I'll have it soon after. About how long should I figure from today, Friday, for it to show up?

Thats perfectly normal.
When i have ordered from Audio Cubes I have not been able to track the parcel the first 24 hours, or so.

Keep in mind I'm not dising AudioCubes for the lack of USPS tracking information-it's the USPS that doesn't seem to be up to the task although the other big players-UPS and FED-X have their act together on the tracking issue. Everytime I see an item shipping via USPS and containing tracking info, I don't really need to know 'AFTER' I've received the item it's been 'DELIVERED'- or 'CHECK BACK LATER FOR UPDATED INFORMATION'--come on guys, with that budget you can do much better.

Nah, they are barely treading water with their latest increase. Ready for the next one to fund all that tracking equipment to catch each package as it goes through the pipeline?

Yup it does take a while for the USPS number to show up on their website. I'm sure everything is fine

Just received an email from Audiocubes; turns out the Denons were sent by Fedex and not USPS as they stated in the invoice. With the Fedex tracking #, the site shows they will arrive Monday before 10:30am. I am excited.

1 trick i always do with tracking numbers is to just throw them into google, and google will automaticly figure out which carrier and give you a link to the tracking page of the number

always works with the 3 major carriers(UPS, FedEx, DHL)

Great Afphreak, that Google is smart. I also noticed mine were shipped FED-X with a monday delivery. My appologies to the USPS, please forgive me lord and bless the pygmies in New Guinea... (in my best Larry the Cable Guy speak)
