Audio-Technica's Take on the Microdriver: ATH-CKN50 and CKN70

BTW, what JVC tips? I used Comply T-400 tips, which were sort of fine and the pack of 3 pairs lasted for 1.5 year. Then I bought the much hyped here SHE3590BK, but do not like the tips.

Peter is right. I meant JVC Spiral Dot tips. I also have Comply T and TS series but both cannot match JVC Spiral Dots.

To eliminate the microphonic sound, the bundled shirt clip should be used and the cable of the right should go through behind our neck.

Thanks a lot. Are the sizes normal? I mean M is normal medium (not smaller?).

Yes I would say so. I normally use small or medium size and I use the same with the Spirals Dot (which one depends on the design of the iem but I tend to use the same size as with other tips).

I've found this on eBay. Is it the right one?

JVC Victor EP-FX9M-B Spiral Dot Ear Piece

I would believe so, can you post a link?

Thank a lot for advice, guys. I actually have CKN70, mistyped in the previous post. The thing that was a bit annoying about CKN70 was microphonics from the cord and the wind. Are IM70 and EPH100 better in this regard?

If you wear EPH100 over ear then microphonics are pretty much non existent. Even worn down they are pretty minimal.

This Spiral Dot prolonged my usage of CKN-70 for a year. Unfortunately I accidentally pulled out one of the earphones and it does not work anymore. So I now really need a replacement. It looks like EPH100 has been discontinued although it is still possible to buy on eBay. ATH-IM70 are a bit pricey (around £70). I would prefer something around £50.
