Hey Ltucci --

The W100s and the 100Tis are VERY different headphones. I tried both at Hirsch's headphone meet. To be really general, the W100s are sweet and mild, the W100Tis are strong and more aggressive. I'll leave it to others who have heard them more to fill you in.

I found them both easy to wear. BIG but comfy.

LTUCCI1924,
I bought Hirsch's A-100Ti. My opinion agree mostly with Dusty Chalk's. This is very balance phone and hard to false. The bass is great and go very deep w/o boominess. The treble is very sparkling. The overall clarity is excellent. The midrange is also good. So, you have everything in one headphone. This is not a bright sounding or warm sounding cans, it fits in the middle b/w the Senn HD-580 and Sony MDR-CD1700. I prefer this to my CD1700, Grado SR-125, and SR-225.

The built quality is impressive and the earpads are very comfy. This headphone is good for more agressive musics. The sound stage is wider and bigger than the HD-580's. It is very efficient and sound great from every source. I use mine primary with Meta42, and collection of my discmans.

LTUCCI1924,
They come with miniplug. You will like its impressive bulit quality. So, are u going to get it? I really like this headphone since it sounds great just about from any source. The isolation is also good. Becareful about the earcups, b/c they are prone to scratches. These cans will impress you. It looks awesome, and expensive.

HI PURK
I just ordered the Audio-Technica ATH-A100Ti Limited Edition Art Headphone. I hope that these is no cable replacement for these and I hope They are not laid back like my 580s were. I am in the mood for a headphone change and am hopping that these are an upgrade to my 580s. What do you think PURK?

Hi,
What can I say, I love them both. Both are excellent can; however, the built quality on the A100Ti is so much better and you don't need to upgrade the cable (I hate the idea of upgrade cable). The 100ti is very balance cans. Give it a try and let me know, I think you will like it. According to Hirsch and Dusty Chalk, they prefer the 100ti to their w100. The earpads are made of very comfy leather. Anyway, the senn hd-580 and ath-A100ti are very different sounding headphone. You won't get bore on the A100ti, I promise. Let me know your impression. By the way, I just sent my Supermini to get upgrade today!!! Hopefully, it will sound much better than it used to.

Hi,
It has the bass notes of Sony MDR-V6, nothing short of spectacular bass notes. Very punchy and never boomy.
