I have to decide what I want, for myself and what I will want to sell. Its all NEW product.

What Headphones are worth owning? WHich are easiest to sell?

I’m looking closely at these. Can anyone describe what some of these sound like and opinions on. Any other models better for one reason or another?

Also, I thought Audio Technica made much more expensive headphones but I don’t see them. Who sells Audio Technica online?

They do sell more expensive headphones. The list you have above is the limited number of headphones audio-technica Americas sells in the States.

audiocubes has a better representation of what's available.

But that won't be all that useful to you. The key items of interest recently are

ATH-A900
ATH-AD2000
ATH-W5000
ATH-W1000
ATH-ES5
ATH-ES7
ATH-EW9
ATH-CM7ti

and some others. There are also the discontinued ones, such as the ATH-A900LTD, ATH-L3000. It's these latter ones that are of the most interest.

Don't buy from the USA vendors. The prices are absolutely rediculously marked up, sometimes to triple the original value imported. Audiocubes and jjcha's list is definitely where you want to look...

Yeah, I’m not a vendor or retailer. I may get paid for some work in product from Audio Technica, I’d rather the $$ but whatever gets me paid.
If I get the product, I’ll keep some for myself and sell the rest. I’ll offer it to people here if that’s in good taste, and sell it on Audiogon and possibly eBay (yuck!).

So I need to make a list of headphones that people would want and determine how much I can get for it (obviously undercutting any retail seller).

I’m not very familiar with the sound of Audio Technica headphones, so have no way to choose whats wanted or not and what I may want for myself.

I do think I want a pair of these small earphones made of wood because they look cool. But how do they sound?

I saw a guy wearing them on our Tube once - I asked him if they had warmer sound and he said "Yes", but that was obviously a leading question.

I have a pair of AD500s and they are superb for most stuff. I gave my friend (who has some Shure e2c's and Etymotic er4i's) a pair for her to try out and she really enjoys them too. They don't isolate as they are open cans, but they're extremely comfortable, sound good with almost everything, and allow me to locate enemies in BF2 with great precision.

The EW9s are the best clip-ons that AT has in terms of sound (and looks IMO). They are a fair bit warmer than its metal counterparts and have fuller bass. That said, I still couldn't get used to em and sold em off (been through em7, EM9d, EW9).
