I just found that my local apple retailer started selling the CK9s for around 120 USD. So would it be a good deal? I don't even know how much is the CK9 MSRP.

Maybe a bit bias as I am a fan of Etymotic. I love the sound of their earphones, great isolation, durable but not very comfortable tho. ck9 is much more comfortable but isolation is not very good (maybe try changing the tips, I'm only talking about the provided tips.) 
 
Also, Etymotic after-sales service is terrific and easy to deal with.
