Audio/Head-fi Resolutions

what you hope to accomplish audio/head-fi wise in the new year. i'll start.

- get an electrostatic setup (already in the works)

- maybe buy one of the big boys (HP1000, L3000, R10)

- sell gear not seeing much use (would help with the above)

- hear the Grado PS1, the only high end headphone i have yet to listen to

- listen to the entire ring cycle by wagner in 4 consecutive days, one opera per session

- find new artists/bands (this is a constant goal)

I hope to accomplish the following:
* Get a hold of a more powerful amplifier.
* Get a hold of more electrostatic headphones (HE60, SR-Omega, SR-SC1, SR-007A, ...)
* Attend a Head-Fi meeting.
* Hear a few more dynamic headphones (K1000, R10, L3000, Edition 9, HP1000, ...).
* Find lots of new music...

Get some vinyl going through my re-tubed 336 and 701s. That's all that I need this year (The vinyl has to be good though).

In 2008 I will be living in L.A. and I want to
-attend a Head-Fi meet there,
-get some Denon xxx headphones
-attend an opera of Mozart, a show of King Crimson/Robert Frip, and some late Beethoven's string quartets.

- Acquire one of them: a high-end headphone, balanced amp or high-end DAC (or two of either, if I'm feeling good)
