Hi there. a lot of bang for the buck from Audio GD... can anyone confirm any shortcomings ?

I was looking at their array of balanced output DACs such as the :

I am wondering about the audio quality of such ESS based units and whether the noise (hiss) performance is extremely good.
I would like a DAC that has zero audible noise from the headphones or balanced outputs. Thank you in advance for you assistance.
The quality looks amazing but how are users reporting the sound fidelity.

NFB-1.32 => Balanced DAC  only, no headphone amp or pre/amp fonction .

NFB-10.33 => Use 2 * Wolfson WM8741 DAC .

Noise...hiss, what noise/hiss.

Audio-GD gear does not suffer from any noise or hiss. Neither should any other well designed SS gear.

Check some of the threads on Audio-gd's gear and you will come to the right conclusion

Hey thanks, they have exciting specs and quality components for a very good price. Do they really get close to the fidelity of DACS in the $1,500-2,500 price ranges. Thanks will check those pages.

edit: thanks for the noise/hiss feedback  : ) Thats what I wanted to hear.

Audio-gd gear tends to perform at a higher level, sometimes much higher, than their price would suggest.
Most of their gear would easily cost twice as much if it was made in US/EU.
You are getting the benefits of much cheaper Chinese labour rates with the only downside is that you have further to return something if it develops a fault. Audio-gd gear is very well made and well tested before dispatch.
I have never had any issues with any equipment I have bought from them.
