Audio file player with No DAC, no amp?

To get away from PC as digital source Im looking for a dedicated device to play audio files... do these exist?
It would need IS2 or USB output, I checked out DAPs but these look to be complete playback systems, I already have my amp and DAC and just need something to feed it data.

You still need a PC especially if you're after USB output - fanless Android MiniPC can be set up to run headless controlled by a tablet or smartphone. Mac Minis and iPads can be set up the same way. There's also the Raspberry Pi or an Intel NUC. Any way you go, you still have a PC, except you can use Android or OSX+iOS instead of Windows.

If you can ditch USB output there are music servers like the Marantz NA7005.

All these still have a DAC inside though. No way around not paying for that, you can just bypass it.
