Audigy2 ZS auto-conversion to 48kHz issue everyone is talking about...thus making the sound not bit-perfect...

Am I right saying it's only on analog that it does this?

Then could I be bit-perfect using:
- Digital / 48kHz? (I think I saw no somewhere...)
- Digital / 96kHz? (I think I saw YES somewhere...)

Cya!

hi
pardon a newb to ask
what is AFAIK?
would you have a few software suggestion?

what about the 96kHz digital out of the Audigy2 ZS?
could this one be bit-perfect? i'm pretty sure I saw a positive answers on this one on other posts... but i'd like to find some technical review on this somewhere.
