audigy nx and sennheisers

i'm looking to upgrade from my senn 497s and i'm probably going to be running the new cans from my audigy nx.

i email creative and this is what they said about the headphone output:

"The headphone jack on this is a line level headphone jack which means that is runs at 47 Kohms. This should work well with a vast majority of headphones."

does this mean that the audigy will power the cans properly?

Unfortunately, no, it doesn't. You'll still need fairly efficient phones, unless you'd invest in an amp. I'd recommend to consider the Creative HQ-1300 (aka Labtec Elite 840), for example...
