Just got the i/o hub for my Audigy 2 ZS. I'm running my 360 optical into the Audigy hub and I am getting a delay in the sound playback. For example, if I press a button, instead of the sound effect kicking in instantly, it take about half a second to play.

Anyone have any suggestions to correct the delay?

I thought I might mention this. I found a response to someone with a similar problem and one suggested to change the the sample rate. So I did that and it didn't help.

Also, I am now noticing some clipping in the sound. When there is a lot of action on-screen, in games, the sound will just make a "spark" kind of sound. The only other way I know how to describe the sound would be to say it is clipping (static).

So, I know I haven't had any responses. Maybe this post will help. Any direction would be great. Forums, advice, whatever.

BTW, I am using a BJC interconnect (the 1505, I believe).

Well, it looks like I will get no responses. But, just in case some people around here (namely those who have looked at this thread) have a similar question, here is a thread on the Creative Labs forums that speaks to the issue. I have yet to find a solution to the delay and it seems that it is unsolvable. So anyway, I will let this thread die unless some others reply. But here is the link to the thread I found on the Creative site about my problem:
