Hey, thanks for opening this up. Thanks also for being open about the limitations of the beta... from the email it sounds like I should be able to live with most of them.

But will the HQ app allow FW to be regressed to official release if I find something that stops me using it on day to day basis?

Yes. You can easily go back to the previous version.

I like how the Penrose X sounds but wish it had better range. Also, I like its mic and so do my friends after EQing it with Voicemeeter. I have it run through NVIDIA Broadcast before it reaches Voicemeeter FYI.

Same here. Been refreshing since every minute since 4pm PDT.

One thing i will say is that when i applied for the beta by the time they got back to me they said they weren't sure there would be space for me to test it this time (as to why they are limiting the beta rather than letting anyone that is willing to test it test it, i don't know), and i never received any instructions so i guess maybe after someone posted them earlier in the thread they changed the window and told the successful applicants not to tell anyone the new time? A bizarre system in any case... they really should get a new software dev team that can at least provide a custom firmware update field in the app rather than this hap-hazard method.

I got the invite and their new email today confirmed 4pm PDT. I don't see it either, we might have crashed them all trying at once?

Haven't seen anything yet either and have been refreshing for a solid 15 minutes. I do think this was because someone posted it in the thread which shouldn't have been done.

I did receive a confirmation email from Audeze earlier to confirm the time on the beta around 1:38pm EDT so I dont think they changed it but rather canceled it?

Doubt we crashed it. It was hosted in an AWS bucket from what I recall and I doubt enough people were trying to hit it at the same time from this limited group.

Yeah cancelled it or they couldn't get it to push to their app would be my guess as well.

Yet another frustrating moment in the Penrose saga. I regret letting their CSRs talk me out of returning the headset back in late January since they said updates were right around the corner.

Another thing could be that people on this forum don't have the latest software as it wasn't available on their website and was on another google drive link.
