I have read on multiple sources that I shouldn't push the headphones against my head as it could damage the diaphragm; I am just uncertain as to how careful I need to be, how delicate they are, and how would I know if I do damage the diaphragm? Especially when the mute/unmute button is on the cup, and you have to push it (a little) to mute/unmute?

Pushing the headphones will not damage the diaphragm.

Both windows and Mac version of the Audeze HQ has been updated.
https://www.audeze.com/pages/audeze-hq-software

You can adjust the auto-sleep time now and set it to whatever you want.

Thank you, I have been using it with autosleep after 45 mins for a few days and it has significantly improved the user experience for me. It avoids the multiple times a day where I'd need to wait to turn it on and connect (and the reconnect loop on mac).

There definitely seems to be some weirdness afoot with the battery level. I charged the headset overnight and after about 4-5 hours of use today got the "low battery" voice prompt. When plugged in to my Macbook the app indicated the battery was at 22%, but after unplugging and replugging it showed 38%. Now the light on the headset isn't flashing yellow any longer and I'm not getting the low battery prompt. Possible target for a firmware fix down the line perhaps?

I was about to ask what kind of problem the whooshing sound is what everybody is talking about. But I thought that it's better not to know so I don't find it. But now there is a little noise on the left ear like some one was whispering in my ear so quietly I couldn't hear the actual words. So is it this? What has Audeze replied about this issue? Is it software or hardware issue?

For those of you who need a little more comfort, I think I found very good solution. Fits very nicely :)

Yes. There was an old “whoosh” which has been fixed in firmware. Some of us have a different “whoosh” which sounds like a faint whistling wind storm or a warbling interference sound in the left ear. It is typically sporadic and only noticeable during quite scenes or music. I put a ticket in and returned the headphones for this and they say when they receive new product they will be sending a replacement. I have not heard if they reproduced the warbling/whistling noise yet. I hope it is not related to my particular WiFi/tv/house electrical environment as that will make it harder to diagnose. I’m also hopeful that occurs only on some sets and not all of them (that currently seems to be the case). I’ll report back once my replacement set arrives.
