Audeze Penrose X and Penrose

Really appreciate your updated response as it cements what MLE and I as well as a few others have said throughout the thread; Audeze is a good company and will stand behind their products. They are not your typical Kickstarter or GoFundMe type company ran out of their mom's basement or garage. They are not con artists wanting to cash in and run away with your money. They have over a decade reputation of producing great, audiophile products. Gaming, especially wireless gaming is very much new to them so some growing pains are expected as they find out which design decision worked and which didn't. With the Mobius for example, they hunkered down and fixed issues after issues until the current offering is night and day difference from launch.

For any haters still out there, let me ask you this; would you expect companies like Logitech or SteelSeries to work with owners on Head-Fi or invite them to their HQ for personal testing and chats with company executives? Not unless you were the likes of Shroud, Ninja, or DrDisrespect.
Yeah, I have to admit, I did not expect such dedication.

Does anyone know if Audeze put shipping insurance on these?
Mine were stolen either from a FedEx employee, or someone in my building. My building security is working on figuring it out.

Anyways, wondering if there is anything I can do as I will most likely never see them.

I would reach out to Audeze unless you purchased it through a reseller

The updates here are comforting and confirm for me that the make-or-break issue for me is going to be how the headset feels in long-term use. Any suggestions on how to handle top band pressure other than having more hair? Let’s assume clamp is no longer an issue.

Make sure to read the dimensions to ensure fit!

Is the wooshing getting worse for anyone? I don't know if I'm just getting really attuned to it, but I hear it everywhere now. Any silent space around notes is just whshshsh. Sounds like I'm biking with earbuds on and am hearing the wind vibrate my eardrums. It feels quite loud now.

Since the issue is caused by an automatic gain adjustment, it's entirely possible that it gets worse or better.

is there still 16ms latency when using the Penrose 'wired' or is there less?
Would like to use these also with my PSVR, and can you use multiple dongles instead of having to switch dongles, between
lets say a PS4 and nintendo switch. using one would mean that i would constantly have to unplug it and use it for whatever desired console..

I didn’t know these could be wired in. Where do you even plug them in to on a PS5 and which settings would I need to change? Has anyone tried this?
You can plug it into any standard 3.5 mm port for audio + microphone. There are 3 connection options in Penrose.
Wireless 2.4
Bluetooth
3.5 mm Analog
