It is for everyone. Gaming, Movies, Music.

Awesome, super excited about this launch! So then this is the flagship Audeze wireless headphone with audio quality up to par with the Sine, etc.?

P.S. The indiegogo campaign isn’t public.

Yeah I’m interested for sure. It looks to be going after the same product vertical OSSIC has failed to launch in and there’s pent up demand.

Does this have a multi-driver array in each side to help with localization?

Is the stand also a Wi-Fi antenna that connects to the computer for better throughput while wireless at home?

Not too excited about the Waves NX partnership. I've used their consumer "gaming" application, their mobile application, and their professional mixing platform and none provided the localization and immersion of SBX surround by creative. I'd rank NX a step above dolby headphone but under windows sonic, Sennheiser's solution, HeaDSPeaker, and SBX in that order.

Hoping audeze can put their own spin on the software and clean it up because as it stands, NX being the main platform on these is what's stopping me from instabuying.

This is a new Hardware implementation that is completely new and blows away any of those quite easily.

It sounds like music comes last but I trust Audeze that Mobius will sound as good as their other portable offerings.

I was blown away with Sennheiser's implementation of virtual surround sound in the GSX series amplifiers, so I am super excited to try these out!

I agree. I backed for 199. If they aren’t great for music I figure I can unload them for that or near that. Audeze makes superb products. I have faith.

I’m hesitant. I’m super excited about the movie aspect, but the music part leaves questions. I don’t care at all about gaming, so I’m left wondering if this is for me?

All the 3D can be turned off and it becomes a standard Audeze over ear closedback headphone. This is perhaps the most versatile headphone we have made.

100mm drivers with Fazor. Basically a wireless EL-8 with head-tracking. Intriguing. Very close to backing.

Backed as well. Hoping the Audeze touch can really make NX be what I wanted it to be but I'm not holding my breath. Most important thing to me will be the ambiance setting. IMO it was completely ridiculous in the mobile and desktop consumer versions. In the mixing app it was better being able to cut it down and reposition the virtual speakers. I'm hoping to see the customization the mixing plugin has without needing to run a vst host for the plugin. Exactly how much of the speaker emulation will be customizable Audeze?

Apart from that, a closed back planar having now learned from the sines and EL8-c for $200 sounds like a good enough proposition on its own, at that price the NX stuff is bonus.

Yeah, I don’t care too much about the 3D sound features though I’ll definitely give it a try. I more so backed because I love the EL-8 and a wireless EL-8 that potentially sounds even better is a winning proposition to me. Hopefully the battery life over Bluetooth with the 3D features disabled is decent. Only downside I see is the one-year warranty.
