Nothing compares to the Lcd i4.

It just another level of technicalities, plus it's so open sounding. It doesnt even need a seal from the eartips to make its bass sound great.

I'd always considered the LCDi4 as my end. Take it the headphone wont be worth it

I'd even put the lcd-i4 (when used with EQ) ahead of my Subtonic Storm.

And I have big praise for both!

Got some custom tips for the i4s! Soundstage is ever so slightly narrower but damn cohesion is on another level. Comfort is really on another level esp. when paired with extra thin cables from OE Audio (2DualOFC).
How do these fit onto the body of the i4 without falling off? Does the normal silicone tip go inside of it like a sleeve? My main problem with them is they break seal at times, a custom fit would be perfect in theory. Thank you.

I find the Audeze i4 isn't really seal sensitive. So shouldn't be a worry.

The real factor to worry about, is if it shifts how deep your fit is going with these.

These custom-tips "solutions" usually make the nozzle longer, so it would be less deep. Giving you an early treble peak somewhere on other IEMs.

Well I dont know. That's why I was asking him. I do get seal breaks after long sessions because my ears become slightly sweaty and the tip only kisses the entrance. If this works how I think it does, then it doesnt insert any deeper because it's the same hight as the nozzle + the tip. It doesn't replace the tip, it goes around in like a sleave. All it does is provide a better seal by contouring around my pina to keep it in place, not the ear canal like actual CIEMs do.

Recently received the LCDi4 from another head-fier and the left IEM doesn't play any audio. Has anyone faced this issue? Tried the cipher cable, 3.5mm cable, my own cable, etc. Won't play audio no matter what. Right IEM is working fine.

I’m getting some earhooks 3-D printed because of the breakage problem on the clips. The 3D printing shop told me that they would use resin over filament plastic because of the fine work required, and that resin is much stronger. However, the information online says that resin is brittle and that filament plastic is stronger.

This is my first venture into 3D printing. If know through the process, or have gone through it, can you shed some light on this?

Thanks!
