Audeze LCD-4

My apologies if this has been discussed before.
I found a deal for LCD-4 2018 rev locally. Headphones are in great condition, just wondering if 2018 is a good version. Anything specific I need to know on this revision?
I am looking for LCD3 or LCD4 as an upgrade from LCD2.

I believe Sankar "announced" an Audeze electrostatic, compatible with Stax Pro bias (so those with existing electrostatic amplifiers can use them), for around $4,300.

Didn't hear a date.

No idea if this has anything to do with a potential "LCD-5" either.

Very interesting.
Maybe the first electrostat that manages to deliver in the Bass Departement at humanly attainable prices

So we further know nothing about the LCD-5.
No. 1 technology of Audeze is planar magnetic nor ribbon nor electrostatic.
While this is true, their "Ribbon" Headphone was a huge success being compared to the Susvara at a third of the cost.

I'm excited for the E-Stat, even tho I have no amplifier to drive one...

Hm.. I read a lot hype and that they have not the good bass Audeze or Susvara have.
I think that was only a little experiment from Audeze not a game changer all hope.
