I absolutely adore these headphones for well-recorded rock and any music with electric instruments such as jazz fusion, etc. I've settled on using them with my β22.

FS.  Constant compression caused by the Omega is not good for the LCD-3's pads.  (That's why they ship with the foam piece in the middle these days, to prevent pad compression.)  Available worldwide from Thomann.de.

If you don't care about looks and want something cheaper, Sennheiser's HH10 essentially accomplishes the same thing.

+1 on HH10.  Great headphone holder.

Just ordered my LCD3's.
I'm very anxious to get my hands on them but of course I'm gonna have to upgrade my amp. I have a wa6se and I'm wondering how they'll pair up. Also I'm looking for an SS to complement the 3's. my price range is under 2k.
Thanks :D

Hey congrats!

IMO, your WA6SE should be a fantastic amp with them.

Id probably go with either the LCD-3s or the Fostex TH900s, i liked the fostex flagship quite a bit more than the W3000ANVs

I've heard nothing but great things about the th900s. If you can spare the coin they're worth pickin up. I'm gonna get a pair myself after the hd800s that is. Oh and when I can afford to again
