Could the owners of the LCD2C tell me what are the pads made of. Is it pure leather like in the case of Pre Fazor model or is it artificial faux leather. I ask because I too may be shortly owing a pair to complement my HD-800. Tks.
Out here at my local dealer it will cost me $700 though the price in the USA maybe $100 less

Oh!. Thats low in quality. But considering the price offered by Audeze I guess have to take what comes. Anything sharp can cut the pad is my worry. Tks

It's actually a new design/material apparently that's hella resistant to wear. It's pretty darn good. I wouldn't be worried.

They're great darker headphones. I recommend a 2db eq from 10-120 hz. I'm about to sell mine or ebay them. They leak louder than my older headphones so they wake up my girlfriend (she sleeps at 8pm). Probably the huge 100mm drivers. =(

Yeah my 598s and X2's I could blast and not wake her up. Not with the LCDs

I sold my Fidelio X2 today just to get the LCD. The X2 for my taste were warm and too boomy. Now I look forward to the 2C. It seems all through these posts the positive vibes win.

Open back will surely leak sound. So the environment is better to be judged by oneself. Cheers
