Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread

Just ordered the LCD2C. How is the efficiency guys? Is it still a hungry beast, so not really workable on anything but a muscle amp. I have the Metrum Aurix incoming which does about 3.5v into 70 ohms, 6v into 600 ohms. I think the 2C is still 70ohms?

I almost went for another HP due to efficiency. Anyway, hope it works out.

I think the lcd2c might be a technically better headphone with non fazor sound Sig ? But im assuming things i prefer the lcd2c to the lcd2f
Technically probably no becaus they both use the exact same drivers, and the fazors do focus the sound more, but you may well prefer the sound sig of the C.

lol people are so sensitive about their headphones. You'd think someone insulted their newborn.

I know you wanna justify your purchase, but at least try to be objective and take criticism.

(not speaking to anyone in particular)

Can I ask, what is the sound quality drop from the current LCD-2 and the current LCD Classic? Why is it cheaper?
Equal slam, hard treble, lush mids, equal blob.

Absolutely. Compared to the Stax SR-007/009 Code-X, HD800 (my personal references) the top end sounds constrained and it comes off as being piercing in nature.

But he was asking about LCD-2C vs LCD-2F
