I connected my LCD-2cs to my LG TurboWash with Direct Drive; Spin speed: 1400 rpm!
I sounds fantastic!
That hurted :D HAHAHA But for real, that phone can drive these. If you know what LG V30 can do :D

It can, it has an AMP for headphone: Here they tested it with LCD-X: https://www.stereophile.com/content...f2sgC9y0KxC72hD44W-ZNPl6UBBSBgLMMDS-3ZlzIbkH4

"What blew me away was the sound of the LG V30 through my reference system. I invited my audiophile physician, Gary Forbes, to take it a listen. "With MQA, the dynamic range from the little phone was startling," he reported. "I thought the separation of instruments was better with MQA, although the horns sounded a little thin. The soundstage certainly widened with the Rossini DAC [$24,000], and there was more midrange information, and clearly more control and realistic decay of the bass. But for a phone, for Chrissakes, that's amazing sound to come out of such a little piece! How much did you say it costs?"

Believe me iv driven all my headphones with it, even Fostex mk III. :D It is not an normal phone, not at all :D

I’m wondering why so many people are thinking of using portables with the 2C? Are they really going to go out into public with that behemoth on? I’ve only got one true portable setup, but even that one can be used for long term as When the battery finally dies I can just replace it. Unlike something like a mojo or topping nx3s that just basically becomes trash after the battery dies. Serves my needs just fine. I actually haven’t tried the 2c with it. I’ll post it up another time when i can try them together. My Macguyver portable setup up top hehe. 20,000 mAH battery lasts long time!
You need to move around the house, get a drink, beer which will make you use the bathroom more.
I just take it with me instead of holding my pee, been portable since day one

Perhaps you shouldn't just believe what some douchebag on stereophile.com writes. They get paid for writing those infomercials.

I tried the LG G6 with the same 'Quad-DAC' as the LG V20 (and V30?) has. Not with the 2C though. It is definitely the best sounding phone, but even a simple DAC/amp like the Dragonfly Red beats it. And even the Dragonfly Red is miles away from an entry level desktop stack. IMO.

Yup 2C. For me it works almost as good as Aune x1s + x7s stack. It got even wider soundstage what x7s can give.
