I own a Red Wine Audio LFP-V Edition Audeze headphone amp I use to drive my LCD2's.  It sounds really good but I am somewhat hard of hearing (so I am told, years of listening at high volume) and I sometimes struggle with getting enough gain from the amp.  I have an opportunity to buy a Red Wine 30.2 LFP-V amplifier (30w per channel) for a decent price.  Ultimately I would use that amp to drive speakers but since I don't have room for a 2nd speaker setup in my house the amp would sit unused for awhile...Unless I could use that amp to drive 'phones.  The headphone amp has analogue out jacks which would drive a passive preamp and then speakers, or the LCD2 if that were possible.
 
Has anyone used the LCD2 with a speaker amp and how good were the results?  Of course I could just leave well enough alone...
