Do you guys think the refurb iSINE 20 w/Lightning will also include the standard cable just like the new package does? If so it makes more sense, I believe, to purchase the Lightning cable. I don't have an iphone but have an ipad, but other DAPs with standard connection.

Yeah that skipping issue has been with Android for quite a few years now, it sometimes works on Androids with the internal memory and almost always skips with the external mSD use. Having 256gb on the Apple is plenty for me. I do have 3tb of music but they are mostly 70s-90s and I use Tidal for the newer stuff I like which is where my Onkyo does great having 2 mSD slots.

You can actually go into the settings in Tidal and turn on crossfade to 1 sec and it eliminates the skipping. I own the FiiO X7 and it drove me nuts for the better part of two years then someone suggested this and it worked.

I saw someone say i10 is better than i20. how do the 10 and 20 compare if someone tried both? i have a m1060 and I like it. is i20 better than m1060. And does the cypher lightening cable make that much of a difference? How does the cypher lightening cable dac/amp compare to odac + o2 amp?

m300 was the worst sounding earphones I tried this year. I returned it for refund. isine20 with cipher cable by contrast was my 2nd best purchase this year. (1st was Denon AH-D7200 headphones)

At that price you have to be quick on the draw. Audeze is selling them for a price that is better than the price most people are selling them for 2nd hand. I paid full price for mine but I've been enjoying them for months now. I wish I had the money to get the LCD-4's.

I just received the cipher cable ver. 2.

Quite noticeable sonic differences vs ver.1

Base tuning must’ve been revised.

1- 2kHz feels more elevated now and slightly honky.

There seems little more perceived depth in stereo imaging (better dac?)

Everything sounds little more clearer and effortless.

Need to EQ down presence region around -3dBs

Slightly sibilant.

Not sure if I like it yet.

Physically it is much improved. Lighter and better cable.

Although I am very careful with all my equipment, and I use the ISine 20, and M300, I have broken 3 ear clips, and frustration getting the better of me, am I going to turn both into a headband design. Should be done in a week. We shall see.
