Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones

The surefire earhooks are included with the iSines. Surefire makes them, but they are a different design from the ones they sell for earbuds.

You can get replacements from Audeze, as I had to after one of the ones that came with my pair broke. The new pair I received seemed to be made slightly differently, and less prone to breakage, but they also didn't hold as securely to begin with.

I'm currently quite curious about the knockoff version that Monoprice is including with the M300. If they're designed for the same diameter attachment ring, I hope that they sell them separately.
Gotcha I've had my isines for under 2 weeks and one of my earhooks already broke just attempting to remove it off the iem. I'm currently using the large in ear canal ones they're pretty good.

I actually think I prefer the frequency response of the headphones through the 3.5mm cable. It's perfectly flat through the bass and lower mids, providing nice emphasis on the vocals, then a neutral treble. Lightning sounds more colored, which it is.

5-10 years in the future I can foresee Audeze using this design to release 100% wireless headphones with lossless support that sound as good or better than they do today.

Still uncomfortable and very dependent on fit to sound good even with the earhooks. They have the potential to sound incredible but I'm not satisfied at all with the fitment and can already tell these will be going back.

which balanced 2 pin cables work with isine 10's?
Or is it a case of any 2 pin connector will work

thank you

0.78 2-pin cables with a notch should work. May want to avoid cables that are designed to go over the ear and have memory wire or heatshrink, etc.?

Venture Electronics cables are an affordable option that works well (I have one), but they're not doing new cable orders for a while b/c of the recent Massdrop.

Hi cheers for that would the one on aliexpress fit the basic?
Or did you have to have yours built?

I have had both the El 8 open rev 2 and the 10s. The el8 is far superior. Unless you need the form factor of the 10s i wouldnt switch. The 20s versus the el8 is a much closer call. They are very similar sounding to me.

Can anyone help me with my EQ settings on EqualizerAPO?
I'm trying to make the mids smooth and wide with no fatigue, kind of like the HD600.
I like how clear it is, I like the crunch of the treble, but the mids are a little too metallic with this setting.

Here are my filters for config.txt:

Preamp: -14 dB
Filter: ON LS Fc 30 Hz Gain 4 dB
Filter: ON LS Fc 100 Hz Gain 10 dB
Filter: ON PK Fc 1129.87 Hz Gain -5 dB Q 2.2123
Filter: ON PK Fc 1450.87 Hz Gain -2.1 dB Q 2.2123
Filter: ON PK Fc 2700 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 2
Filter: ON PK Fc 4000 Hz Gain 7 dB Q 1.2158
Filter: ON PK Fc 7000 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 4.8179
Filter: ON PK Fc 10000 Hz Gain -2 dB Q 10
Filter: ON PK Fc 16000 Hz Gain 2 dB Q 10
Filter: ON PK Fc 20000 Hz Gain 5 dB Q 2.1422

Edit: Nevermind, I set "Filter: ON PK Fc 4000 Hz Gain 9.7 dB Q 1.2158" to 8dB, now to work on the making the mids pleasant.
Edit 2: I think my brain is already molded into the new preset. I'll work on this tomorrow and discover the horrifying EQ that I just attempted... haha.
Edit 3: Filter: ON PK Fc 4000 is now 7 dB
Edit 4: Filter: ON LS Fc 30 Hz Gain 4 dB has been added

Hmm, if you are able to get these into your ear canal like a traditional IEM they sound terrible and congested. They have to sit just outside the ear canal. Seems like a good idea in theory, but I'd much prefer a different fitment design.

I could do with having a listen first then.I just find the clamping uncomfortable with the el-8,comfort is the main reason for Selling.

Haven't heard of any comfortable Audeze headphones existing. Personally I'm just going to keep waiting to see their next new set of over-ears, and maybe a Sine gen 2.

I think you'll be happy with the sound of the iSine10 if you do get a proper fit though.
