Sure. Why not support them. They provided me with a product that they invested a lot of time, thought and effort making and one I use every day.

I'm interested for the answer as well. I used firefox but lately I prefer chrome if I'm using my pc. I also use more safari. Firefox is not as fast as chrome or safari but I like Firefox various extension and that's the reason I'm still using them although not as much as I used to.

I paid for Omniweb as well, and bugged the crap out of the developers whenever something was wrong. They also allowed me access to development versions with new features. At the time, Firefox was only version 2 (and horribly slow), Safari was ho-hum and the only other browsers were obscure ones like iCab (which ended up changing to using WebKit, as did Omniweb and others).

For myself the feature I like the most is the tabs feature. Say for instance, if I come to head-fi and I browse down the list of forums and I see a couple I want to visit. I then command-click on them and the web pages open up in a tab beside the browser window. I can then see which are which and click on the ones I want to visit. There is an x beside the tab that I can delete it when I'm done.

Another feature I like is the favourites bar, I add the web pages I like to it (it's under the toolbar) delete the name of it and I have a row of icons of my favourite web pages that I that can visit with one click.

For myself, I started using OS X with 10.0 (I ordered the beta but Fed-ex sent it to another town by mistake) and in the early days it was the best web browser by far. Now, it's still my favourite, I like it and it works fine.
