If anyone ordered through paypal we did indeed receive your order. Unfortunately the only automated email system we have set up is for orders through our online store with the non PayPal buttons. Regardless we are working on order sheets which will show your place in line and the status of your order - these will be emailed to everyone either over the weekend or early next week. Don't make such a blind suggestion like that, please. I pre-ordered an Omni last year and literally couldn't sell it for the pre-order discount rate that I paid with all the extras. Ended up eating a 25% return fee (which is the same as the cancellation fee). Literally 0 seconds of head time too. BNIB, without a 3 month wait, discounted price, and all the extras couldn't sell.

You maybe correct but with a all new Headphone that there's not going to be a lot on the market right away moving it should be easier.

I emailed to get the Atticus in Padauk too. I asked in the email if we can get both with just one cable at a reduced price.

This gives me Eikon in Cherry and Atticus in Padauk.

About the same price as one Ether Flow.

With all due respect, I think you're missing his point. If he was pre-ordering Omni's in 2015, they were very new then, perhaps in advance of S.N. 001 being shipped, as Atticus/Eikon are today--but still, there were probably 100s fewer Omni's around then. And still, he couldn't sell his brand spanking new Omni for enough money to recoup costs.

But this raises a larger cautionary issue that other have touched on this string. Headphones are luxury consumable items that depreciate. So it's foolish & a little delusional to go into any such purchase expecting to recoup a large % of the outlay. Actually, ZMF headphones would seem to hold their value higher/longer than many other brands. Still, all you need do is look at the F.S. listings to see several Omni's that have lingered because the owners over-price them (whether out of ignorance or hubris it's hard to know)

Not to mention we shouldn't be selling on headfi's classifieds for profit. Sure, there's flea-bay but you have to deal with all the fees.

While ZMF's do hold their value very well there are more and more pairs of them available now. This last week I saw one pair of massdrop zebra vibros go for 300 and the other for 320 or 325, both included the sea horse cases.

zach915m, are you going to use the same thin foams and tissue papers from your past mods to tune your drivers exterior wise?
 
I'm hoping this is one thing that you've improved over your modded headphones, because for the price of $1000+ I think it's strikingly odd and out of place, even dare I say, DIY quality for that price. I'm hoping you've abandon that method, or at the very least found better materials. I'm assuming it won't because you have the drivers pretuned as oppose to modding a driver to a new tonality.

On the Omni's we currently use felt and charcoal foam that is the same stuff used by sennheiser on the front of their headphones, it's much improved over some of the early t50 stuff and more professionally done and die cut.  As yes, some of the early Omni's and t50 mods used more DIY type material, I would agree with that.
 
The new dynamics have no frontal damping.

Wow, that's great! All the more reason being an early adopter isn't all what it makes out to be. 

 Are you going to be selling those felts and charcoal foam as a separate accessories, like how Mr.Speakers sells his tuning dots and Ether felts?

  You hit the nail on the head. Zach offered 30 preorders with bonuses if I recall and I was #18. I think the pre-orders started in July and I received my Omni in October. He had to fulfill existing orders while trying to take on the new model's pre-orders. Unfortunately there were delays as it was a likely honest mistake that Zach bit off a bit more than he could chew as one mere mortal. I believe the issue was he had to put out 25 orders for a MassDrop Vibro run before getting to anything else. All while taking on ZMF Classics, Vibro Mk1, Blackwoods, cables, pads, etc. Also attending meets for exposure. Simply a lot for one person. I understand why it happened. I merely wanted to share my own experience. Having customization options may have been why it was harder for me to sell my Omni as well. Maybe the different color slider or wood type somehow justified a 3 month wait without seahorse case and stock cable... that I'll never know and can only speculate with regard to.
Another very valid point. Even if someone does sell it for what they paid, they'll lose money on shipping and any fees associated with it anyhow. I listed mine for what I paid as I thought the bonuses would entice someone and likely net me less of a loss than the 25% return fee.

@socks mk2 - I'm so sorry things didn't work out for you and the Omni!  I do have to stick by my return/cancellation policy though, it's tough being a small business, I hope you understand.  One day I hope to have more "amazon" like returns, that would be sweet!
 
I have fulfilled and will continue to fulfill each and every order that comes in.  I have hired the help I need to meet demand and will continue to do so as my business grows.  One thing I can state with confidence, is that the Atticus and Eikon will not have the production issues the Omni had.  This is a huge benefit that we get from designing all the parts from scratch.  We didn't have this with the Omni, as some parts had to be made for production to go smoother at the start which slowed me down.  The Atticus and Eikon are done, the parts are designed, and we just need to go into final production for the orders starting today.
 
  I can state though, and I think others can attest that I really stick by ZMF owners, whether or not they bought a headphone from me and will do what it takes to make sure they are happy with their headphones, from retuning, rebuilding, etc etc. I just want my headphones to be well represented out there.  I really appreciate everyone's support, it's very flattering how many repeat ZMF owners have ordered today, it makes me feel great that so many people have listened to and stuck with my stuff!!!!  I'm just really excited for everyone to hear the new headphones.

I dunno yet?  It was really important to me to just have a nice grille in front of the driver and nothing else.  I think the easier the air can get to the ear the better the SQ.  I could never get the t50 to sound right without frontal damping, and I do think it sounds best with frontal damping.  I can definitely send out some die cut charcoal foam or list some on the site if people want it, but I really want the Atticus and Eikon to be headphones you can just get and enjoy.
 
Oh - also the reason for shipping with the Eikon and Omni pads is that they both have slightly different sigs, the Omni pads are a touch brighter and I think that should satiate most people needs for at the least the brightness pad rolling factor.
