Large soundstage, natural, Euphonic, Liquid (TPE)
Dynamic, punchy, weighty, articulate(bio-cellulose)

So based on this the picture its a toss up between which one is better. I speculate that these will be upgrades in sound compared to the previous versions because he is able to have his own parts. I haven't heard these yet but am excited to and hope to hear them soon.

These will be at RMAF so I am eager to read impressions. Please share!

*sigh* Well, looks like I'm going to need to try both head-to-head. Oh the Horror! lol

Do I see angled drivers, or is the light messing with my eyes?

Not angled.    Each set will come with a set of Omni pads and "eikon" pads, which are angled though.  The Eikon pads are somewhat similar to Omni pads,  but larger in diamater, slightly larger earhole, not as thick.  You could think of the Omni pads as being the size of the THxx or he500, and the Eikon being Audez'e size.  See pics.

In the end I like how both pads sound, with the Eikon's sounding a touch fuller and more frontal, and Omni a little more linear and nimble.  So I'm shipping all dynamics with a set of each.

Def interested if they can keep the prices in line with their other stuff.

The Eikon will have a list of $1299 and the Atticus $999, pre-order prices will be cheaper and announced soon, pre-order will start in early NOV, exact date etc to be announced soon as well.  Expect news the week after RMAF as well as website update etc etc.

Hey just wanted to know if these fit any better/tighter thank the t50p headband?

It took us a while to get the headband shape correct, the radius etc.  It's dialed in pretty good, it is a steel band under everything so it can be bent if needed.  The headband design is a play on many ZMF owners suggestion of using the pilot pad and leather band in tandem.  It turned out that having the band hug a tiny sized pilot pad type thing is amazingly comfortable and distributes weight while having just the right amount of "flex" to adapt to each person's head.

Compared to the t50 headband stock it may be a touch tighter, I'm used to bending the heck out of the t50 band though.

Any chance for the stain customizability of the Vibro to be available on these models?

Not to start.  There may be special editions down the line, but it all depends on demand etc.  I want to be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner and I've found that every headphone being custom dramatically slows things down.  I'm definitely going to do my best to accommodate requests, but they may be more general than having every headphone have different stains etc.

A soundalike TH900 without the treble hash for the biocell, that would be nice.

I wanted to avoid any drivers that are used in other headphones, so we custom tuned and designed our own biocellulose and TPE drivers and found that for a smoother treble response came with 300 ohm impedance.   I'm really happy with how they turned out, they don't sound like anything else, but ZMF's ofcourse.

Not sure if it is asked, the headphones are Open, Semi or Closed. Thanks

More closed than open, actually it's basically a closed headphone.  By advertising the Omni as "semi-open" I think it confused people to thinking they are more open then they are. Really these are closed headphones with small vents.

Zack have you tried these out with OTL tube amps?

Yeah - I highly prefer them out of my Decware CSP III which is OTL.  The Cavalli Lau and MicroZotl sound fantastic too, but like other 300 ohm headphones they sing with OTL amps.  I'll probably have to get a Valhalla 2 now.

Awesome. I was very close to selling my Crack w/Speedball, but now I'll have to hold onto to try with these!
