Can someone tell me why I cannot open attachments in Outlook Express? I used to be able to, but after my little virus episode, and reinstalling everything I can no longer. I get an error message that says:

This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association on My Computer by clicking View and clicking Folder Options.

I have done that, but once I am there, I have no clue what I am supposed to be doing next.

That's specific to the attachment you're trying to open. What's its extension?

They all seem to have a .eml extension.
