I've been using the Westone UM2 during my frequent international air travel. I really like them. They are very comfortable and provide great isolation.
I usually use them to listen to music on a mini-IPOD. When I hook them up to the airplane outlets I find that the airplane headphone outputs are simply too loud for comfortable listening even at the lowest volume setting.
I see that Shure offers an "Attachable Volume Control" just for that situation. The product is designed to work with all Shure earphones. Is there any reason that it would not work with my UM2s?
I realize that the UM3s are to include a in-line volume control. Has anyone seen this device? Will it be compatible with UM2s?
Thanks,
FRANK
