I just got some UM1s, and while im very satisfied with the comfort, the sound is completely lacking for me. I'm a basshead and I need some deep and booming bass that the UM1s can't provide. How are the m5's for a person with smaller ear canals? The UM1's with the smaller tips were pretty much a perfect fit for me in terms of comfort and isolation.

u should get UM2 instead of UM1 haha. M5 is pretty big, doesnt flush with ear but has ample of low end bass. Mid and High on the other hand are not that good.

also, is it true that the difference between the m5 and m8 is the color? do the um2s have as powerful bass as the m5?

maybe i should look at the pl-30s as well, just for the hell of it
