Do the futuresonics Atrio m8 have enough passive noise-canceling powers to block out 9 hours of yammering, hum, and straight-up noise on a plane ride to the orient? if not, what does? thanks alot head-fi.

Personally I find Atrio flanges to be very well isolated, but not the best. UM2 and SE530 on foam or ER6i and ER4 on tri-flange are among the isolating IEM IMO - however, I won't be surprised to find Atrio as good as the best isolating IEM out there if you use the included foam tips. I'll say either on flanges or foam, Atrio isolation should be more than enough for plane ride.
