They look very funky and their web site suggests they are probably bass-heavy by the continual mention of it. I hope they sound as good as they look.

Somehow I get the feeling it will be a little "Headphones By Dr. Dre" like.. Looks looks looks and mediocre sound.
But hey, that's just my prejudice.

The Sonys are exactly what come to mind, after they were sent to a dentist for a little updating. Too much cold steel and thin wires, can't be comfortable.

Buds with an ear hook? No thanks. Buds are just plain painful for me. My ears don't mind IEMs being pushed half-way into my brain, but having any type of saucer-shaped bud wedged into my outer ear canal is instantly painful.

it actually doesn't wedge in, Sony has been building these for about a decade (if not longer), my PDP came with a pair that I tried out (for about 10 minutes, they sound awful), fairly comfortable, still sound like music through a sponge

now the JVC woody ECH's are supposed to be amazing, but those are real woodies, not just wood covered
