Hi.

In my quest for headphones, I've narrowed down my choices from my once-long list.

Here's the application: I need them for general purposes. On the subway, I'd like them to cut out some noise. But the rest of the time, I like hearing what people around me are saying.

Most importantly, they can't leak sound. I usually listen at low volumes anyways, so I figure high sensitivity coupled with some isolation (but not too much, for most of the time) would work.

I like the looks of the SJ5s. The WM5s also look good: lighter, and possibly better-fitting. That said, I can only find comments on this forum and others about the SJ5s. They're good, but I'm just curious about the WM5s if anyone's tried them out, and any other comments on the SJ5s for that matter.

Thanks.

the sj5 suck. dont buy them. i dunno about those wm5s, i've never heard. i think that the akg k81djs pwn sj5s ANYDAY. the sj5s aren't SUPER SUPER closed. they have holes on the outside of the cups. they dont isolate well either. yes they do look good, but besides that i think that the k81djs win in every category

The k81s seem to be pretty uncomfortable, from what I've read on the forums (I'll be wearing these for hours a day, continuously) and look like they isolate too well for my needs.
