I just recently got the ATH M50s for $97 but I was wondering around the $150 price range if there was something better and I would be using them with an ipod

You'll need to state what you don't like about the ATH M50s. Since audio is subjective, people often find "sidegrades" enjoyable because they offer a different signature, sometimes more preferred signature. There may be something that you'll enjoy more than ATH M50s for much less $$, but first you need to tell us what you do like/don't like about your current headphones.

I like the m50s quite a bit I was just wondering if there was something better overall for a bit more that covers music overall since I listen to a lot of rock, classical, and jpop but im not a basshead
