Hi head-fiers.
I am in a search for crisp sounding headphones with a brutal soundstage.
ATH M50 vs Somic Efi-82 Mt vs Superlux HD-681EVO vs Sony Mdr-1r are some of the models I've been considering.
Can you help me which one to choose or propose another model ?

AKG K701, Sennheiser HD598, Beyerdynamic DT990.

I don't know what you mean by 'brutal' soundstage, but the cans i listed above have the best stages in mid-fi category (at least among the headphones i heard).

What does that mean? Never heard soundstage referred to in this way before.

I am not a native english speaker.
In my language brutal is very often used as a slang for something really good.

Soundstage? The ATH-M50 and Superlux HD681 Evo aren't ideal for soundstage.

I suggest the Superlux HD668B if you want... brutal soundstage. :) The Somic MH463 has good soundstage too, but not exactly in the same manner as the HD668B. I wouldn't listen to orchestra with the MH463. If you want closed headphones with good soundstage, Superlux HD669.

--My bad... last post was on 10/2013. I only noticed it now--
