i don't know, but i know i love my little audio technica ATH-ON3's. no bass but stunning clarity.

i'm itching to buy another pair of Audio Technica's.

i love the igrado's, and i think they're the best in their class, but if only the ATH-on3's had a bit of bass weight to them, then i would say that they're the class leaders.

why not take a leap of faith, then come back and review them for us?

IMO, the ES3 has a gorgeous form factor, but too muddy in he bass and mids to be really appealing.

for $30 more you might as well get the ES7's which are known to be phenomenal. I wonder how the ES3's compare to something like px100 or k81dj though....
