Im about to order one of these two models for day use (not interested with IEMs at the moment) and i was wondering if anyone knows about how comfortable either one is when worn with hats. Most of the time when i leave the house i have one on and about half of the ones i have come down over the tops of my ears. Anyone have any problems with this?

The EW9 is much bigger than the EC7, and may not be as suitable for use with a hat on. If your hat is tight-fitting and comes down low over the ears, I doubt the EW9 will fit underneath.

The EC7 sticks out a bit, and may also have trouble fitting inside a tight hat. If the hat is soft and has some elastic, it should be OK. I can wear a beanie type hat over the EC7.
