Anyone heard these Audio Technica canal phones?

I would advide against getting these. I have a par that I picked up really cheap, and i almost wish that I hadn't paid what I did. The main problem with the is that they have NO bass. They have so little bass that the music really sounds unnatural. They have a decent amount of detail and mids, but the lack off bass just really takes away from what is acctually there.

These things suck due to 2 things.
1. The stupid loop support prevents these from getting a seal in your ears. Even if you mod them, they won't fit!
2. Without a good seal, it prevents bass from coming out. No bass means this IEM is not for ANYONE.

I want them for use at the gym, so I'm not that concerned with SQ. I can get them in Australia for $34, I can get the HJE050s for $54, is it really worth the extra?

like the others have said, they're not that great. the loops things really keep them from getting a good seal with without the seal, the bass is too light. i thought that they sounded better without the loops but they were uncomfortable because i didn't cut the loops off in one clean pass and that caused burrs, which would irritate my ears. even without the loops and the better seal, imo the sound was uninspiring.
